What Personal Information About Customers Do We Gather?

The information we learn from customers helps us personalize and continually improve your Amazon experience. Here are the types of information we gather.

  • Information You Give Us: We receive and store any information you enter on our Web site or give us in any other way. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing future shopping for you, improving our stores, and communicating with you.
  • Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many Web sites, we use "cookies," and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses Amazon.com or advertisements and other content served by or on behalf of Amazon.com on other Web sites. 
  • E-mail Communications: To help us make e-mails more useful and interesting, we often receive a confirmation when you open e-mail from Amazon.com if your computer supports such capabilities. We also compare our customer list to lists received from other companies, in an effort to avoid sending unnecessary messages to our customers.
  • Information from Other Sources: We might receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information. 

 

 

What About Cookies?

  • Cookies are unique identifiers that we transfer to your device to enable our systems to recognize your device and to provide features such as 1-click purchasing,recommended for you, personalized advertisements on other Web sites and storage of items in your Shopping Cart between visits.
  • The Help feature on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. Additionally, you can disable or delete similar data used by browser add-ons, such as Flash cookies, by changing the add-on's settings or visiting the Web site of its manufacturer. For instance, if you block or otherwise reject our cookies, you will not be able to add items to your Shopping Cart, proceed to Checkout, or use any handy's products and services that require you to Sign in.

 

How Secure Is Information About Me?

  • We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.
  • We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
  • It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer. 

 

Unless varied in wiriting agreed by both parties all goods will be sold in accordance with the following Conditions of Sale:

  1. Until full payment has been received by the Company for all goods supplied by the Company, the property in goods shall not pass to the Customer not witstanding delivery of the goods to the Customer; however, the Customer has a duty to keep the goods in good condition and is responsible for all loss or damage thereto however caused (fair wear and tear excepted) from time of delivery to the Customer or to any Agent of the Customer and the Company may without notice retake possession of the goods and for this purpose shall be entitled to enter upon any premises recognized by or under the control of the Customer.

      2. The Customer is also advised that the company has in effect a restocking fee of 10% of the unit price per item and that No Goods over two (2) years will be received by us for Credit or Exchange.

      3. Special products will not be accepted for Credit or Exchange.

      4.  A) No goods will be accepted for exchange or for credit unless authorized by a representative of the Company.  Such returns  must be in a SALEABLE CONDITION and must be supported by the relevant documentation (invoice numbers) against which the materials were originally supplied.

           B)  Products of one type which are returned for exchange or another type will be debited and credited in accordance with clause (3) above.

           C)  Any goods that appear to be tampered with or  opened will not be accepted by us unless it can be proven that the product was originally supplied faulty.

5.  In addtion goods returned for credit will be credited at the price originally billed at.

6. Accounts must be paid within the credit period specified by the Company.  Agreed discounts will only be allowed if payment is received within such periods.

7.  Credit charges at the rate of 1 1/2% per month will be charged on any balance of 30 days in arrears.

8.  The Customer shall be liable for all reasonable COLLECTION and/or LEGAL CHARGES incured by the Company in the recovery of any unpaid invoice balance or any sums payable by virtue of a dishonored cheque.

 

9. Consent Clause foro Credit Bureau Clients

I/WE hereby expressly authorize and grant consent to KALEIDOSCOPE PAINTS LIMITED (hereinafter clled the Credit Grantor) whether acting on its own, or through any Credit Reporting Agency, to seek and obtain, verbally or in writing and/or to exchange or release any information relating to my/our past credit history and dealings, whether in Trinidad and Tobago or elsewhere, with any third parties which the Credit Grantor may consider pertinent in arriving at an informed decision or  my/ or cedit - worthless  or credit rating.

I / We agree to accept these terms and conditions of Sale as stated above.

 

Shipping

Delivery to any destination in Trinidad and To Port of Spain docks for Tobago within 24 hours of placement of Order for items in stock.

 

Returns

Products will not be accepted for Exchange or for Credit unless authorized by a Director of the Company.  Returns must be in a Saleable Condition or 10% Restocking Charge of the 'Cost of Product' will apply.  Goods Invoiced and Sold to Customers over 2 years cannot be RETURNED for CREDIT or EXCHANGE.
